Got Me Grateful

Lately I’ve, been kicking rocks, and throwing up my hands

Fed up with the choices I don’t want

All I see, are enemies, clawing at my door

I’ve never been this low, and I just don’t know if I can take it anymore but

When I think of what little time we have

I can remember that the good outweighs the bad

So what if today is rough and tomorrow is a drag

It seems as though, the world is sick and calling out for help

Weighted down by chaos and despair

All around, a battleground, a race to see who’s wrong

And in the end, you’re gonna lose a friend no matter what right side you’re on but
