Rays of light, shine through my pain
Lost in darkness found again

I use to think that my worth was based on how much I earned
Until I got some real paper still that weren't enough
We were jet setters, trail blazers still that weren't enough

And then I got fed up and had enough of that word enough
So I started tryna find the truth
What they won't tell you in the news
I found it in the Bible and for a season I became a recluse
Began asking God what my purpose is
He told me I should stop wasting time
Clowning round in all these circuses
And realign to focus on His word
He will shepherd all His herd
So I listened, I heard
I kicked my sins to the curb
And now my minds clear as a summers day
Playing knock down ginger with my ambitions but I won't run away
Hands up high, feeling blessed
In His name, I found rest
Through the trials, I'll stand tall
With His love I'll never fall
I'm standing tall with the Lord by my side
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
When I think about my life
Humbled by His grace I made mistakes
I was a troubled guy
I don't deserve Him
But He qualifies the unqualified
So now I've gotta make him proud
Can't do it later, do it now
Tryna tap into the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
Power in that lineage
Coz the blood of the messiah is sacred
Died to save all our lives and still they found a way to hate him
Typical of us
Destroying good that's the pinnacle of us
Why do you think the devils always trying to ridicule us
Some of the decisions we make so ridiculous
Just for some money or the fame
It's the same old thing
But praise Jesus he gave a clear route for salvation
So I put my faith in Him saved my spirit from damnation
Now I be tryna tell my people about the good ways
Coz even at my worst times it still be good days
