Backstroke

I'm doing the backstroke in this lake of life

After diving from the stars in a jackknife

I'm here on earth trying to do a couple flips

Before I slip, back into the infinite eye

I'm living in masterpiece

Even when I'm shopping in Target

Faces pass by designed by the cosmic artist

Brain make connections like the Milky Way

Sparks of love tell me what I'm tryna say

And what I'm tryna say, is it's a great day

I tell myself that to groove it into my gray

My gray matter, stayed splattered, unfocused and unpatterned

Hunting for pleasures until I sat down and

Regather my calmness

When I sink into the zone it's like an 'On' switch

Voltage up and down my spine, recharge my mind

A couple Kriyas, then get back to noddin'

I found my true self it feels like I'm yachtin' haha

Eating some jalapeno chicken then I take a quick dip in

The lake of my soul I dive deep where it's cold

Listen to the universe, I try to do what I'm told

About the Big Bang create it all, with positivity

Rise above duality, above good and evil symmetries

Writin' verses daily to express what's inside of me

Smilin' in the chaos, hoping this'll pay off

Get lifted let the mind finally take off

I kiss my daughter, go to work, eat some lunch, write a verse
