Lord Sabbath

Oh the Lamb of God Lord Sabbath

He is rest for all those who believe

For He surely ended

The burden of sin's slavery

See His body there hanging

And His flesh took and laid in the tomb

To rest in peace on the table

The bread and wine us to make new

He says as you take you remember

The Lord of the Sabbath Lord's day

Him holy keep now and forever

Add no work and Him not profane

Oh man of the flesh thinks it folly

That all work is forever there done

It is finished the Lamb's voice is calling

For rest now the weary must come

He who has ears let him listen

Don't harden your heart or delay

Receive Christ and then be His witness

Enter while the day's called today

Oh fear not that unrighteous preacher

Who burdens lambs with his own law

Trust and lay down by the Good Shepherd

While all other gospels do fall

Those who down here His rest enter

Will one day reach Heaven so fair

And prove that we've always together

By faith have sat down with Him there
