There are whispers on the breeze

Hypnotic melodies as old as time.

And all I can say, is that I’m thankful every day,

even when I’m far away you’re always right there on my mind

Because I miss you,

You’re the peace while I’m asleep,

Three more days and I’ll be home to you..

I used to think, It was better to burn out than to fade away

But I’m not so sure these days,

My whole damn past is full of cinder and smoke.

What a mess I’ve made,

But still I would not change a thing

Cause through the heartache and the pain,

But god I miss you
