Wake up!

Tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock

All the hours on the clock feel like they’re mocking me

as if they’re all fully aware that in a day there’s not enough of them for me to

get anywhere, go anywhere

Run away, run away

Running running running

Hurry up, hurry up

I don’t wanna wanna

Trying to squeeze time into a box

but there’s no space for it

Min-maxing all the hours of the day

Chasing an ideal version of myself

Run run run

Clock hands digging into my back

Nowhere to hide, it’s just like I’m being

chased by some kind of a monster that’s way faster than me

Time monster getting way too close, tick tock

I know there’s somebody behind me simply smiling at the sight of

trip over my feet and

get back up again and
