Those old brick steps they welcome in

From a stranger to a loving friend

The red hardwoods and that screen in porch

Is where we sang and screamed till we all went hoarse

All those rusted iron chairs

An old rocking horse that used to stand right there

That corner spot where the wind chimes hung

Where I wrote more songs than I’ve ever sung
