I Want More

Whether it's too much

Or too little and too late

I need some kind of tension

To make the string vibrate

The illusion of control

Over impulses I fought

I was standing guard for twenty years

Till the minute I was not

How tired is the army

That's landing on your shore?

Well, mostly, I want power

But sometimes, I want more

I'm serving as your poet

Among the other frauds

I just dress it up as beauty

And I hope I won't get caught

Do I need this struggle

To tire the perverse?

'Cause I am not an animal

If I'm ungrateful and I curse

Yeah, how tired is the army
