I forget to forget the inappropriate

I'll paint a painters portrait poorly

You are my sequel with a different lead

Expensive and unnecessary 

I try to try to disassociate 

Detach and reconfigure most of it 

Dreaming of sleeping in a different bed

Leaving my fingerprints on all my dead

If it's brains and wit that turn you on, I'm off

If time and space is what you need, I'm speed 

These are humorless vibrations

Youthful lust, hallucinations

Why would I want to give of myself to you? 

You could spend energy chasing

Men in suits, the sun is facing west

It's a sign, dear

There's nothing here for me, she said. 

I don't hate you anymore

I don't love you any less

Let's not and say we did 

I'm afraid that we are missing

Clues and levers we aren't pulling 

Let's not get lost here.
