Rising like a full moon in March

Look across the smooth blue dunes I take it in

Predicting when I’ll lose sight

Dripping through the cylinder we’re at both ends

Took it to heart the night I said there’s no right way to start

Rising like Saturn and Mars

The air between us thickens

I linger too long at the seam split at the shoulder

Dreams of being carried into warm water

Feels like when I’m waking I’m wrapped in soft wool
