Orange & Red

When it rains on mondays it reminds me

Of when you left again without packing your things

My tears fall in harmony

With the raindrops on my windshield

Sooner or later the sun will come out

But as long as you're not here

There will be a cloud hanging over me

Fall reminds me of you and the way life used to be

New leaves spark up old memories

This year I stand alone in the middle of the street

As God paints the neighborhood orange & red

The colors aren't as bright as last year

It's not the same without you next to me
