I heard a roaring seismic wave washed ashore

We made a beautiful beach of old crumbled-down buildings

I felt a trembling from two tectonically-moved plates

Their molten seams, bleeding lava, building, crumbling, and rebuilding

And even the ancient-filled air some down the valley sutures when

Carving for far too long
