It was another crappy day at the five and dime

My boss found a brand new way to waste my time

Do this, do that, and all that crap

I take the load and she takes a nap

By the end of my shift I lost my mind

On the way home I had to blow off steam

I rang my man so I could finally scream

But everytime I call ‘em,

He tries solving all my problems

By now he should know what I need, ‘cause

I don’t need Mr. Fix It. I want Mr. Agree

Mr. Sit There and Listen and Validate Me

‘Cause I had a hard day and I just want to vent

So if Mr. Fix It’s in, I’ll tell him to “get bent”

I explained why my boss made me so mad

But then he said “she doesn’t sound that bad

He told me that I should think twice

And I should hear out his advice

But boy he better listen now to me, ‘cause

I don’t need Mr. Fix It. I want Mr. Screw Her

Mr. Always Take My Side No Matter What He Heard

‘Cause I had a hard day and I don’t want his help

So if Mr. Fix It’s in, I’ll tell him “go to Hell”

I don’t think I can take much more of this shit

Of him always playing devil’s advocate

Don’t speak your mind. It ain’t hard to do

If you keep this up, then we’ll be through

Mr. Leave Me In Peace As I Refill My Cup
