I've known faces within me

A perpetual stranger, emotions swarm

Lost in this vast sea of nothing

Searching for a self I've yet to see

In this existence, I possess only soul

No rest for a man who's whole

I see the world, but not myself

A mere observer, detached creature

Emotions flow, but they don't define
