Lyrics

20 years old said goodbye to his family. Went to the shop to go and buy a paintbrush. This kid never came home. 18 years on the family still seeking justice for
the case. Cover up's and fresh layer of paint, tell a different story altogether. Beaten to a pulp in a jail cell. Thugs with badges and a make shift rope. We'll get you someday shouted from a passing car. No justice or persons held accountable. Another shadowed case hidden by the state he walked into that cell and never walked back out. Another broken family failed by the state and an innocent kid
doesn't kill himself. And an innocent kid doesn't kill himself. A fresh layer of paint and make shift
rope tell a different story. And your day will come and your lies will unravel and be exposed, unanswered questions and many broken-hearted a case left to be
forgotten protecting the ones responsible. And how can this story not break your heart? Never stop fighting for the justice you deserve this world is a dark fucking place.
And an innocent kid doesn't kill himself?
No trust in a government who care more about themselves. This kid was thrown into a cell as innocent as me and you. 18 years on and still no justice?
And this is a song for Terence.
