Playtime With My Dog

Sometimes when I walk with my Rory I got nothing to worry about

She’s a good old family dog with eyes full of love

She’s been in my family forever, ever since I can remember

And it feels like she’s frozen in time and will always be mine

After school we go to the park and I sit on the bench until it gets dark

We play hide and seek in the trees and I let her run free

She seems to never get tired and I always admired her endless joy

Her eyes always shining with light make all my days bright

We’re running free through the ocean of trees

Hoping this will last forever

Not caring much, not worrying a bunch

Never apart, always together

Sometimes when I come back from school, she’s already waiting and it’s so cool

She sits patiently at the door ready to go explore

So we walk down to get some ice cream cause it feels so relaxing, then she leads me home

I don’t know what I would do, and it's true, without her cue

We’re running free through the ocean of trees
