stuck floating,

lonely space cadet.

we can start again.

left staring at a blank page,

couldn't quite face the facts.

let's play dead.

satin noose around my neck.

told a bad joke, forced a laugh.

learned to leave the past in the past.

it's not half bad

but the walls are closing in again.
