出来るだけ うすく切りたくて

といだナイフに くちびる寄せる

テーブルには こぼしたワインの

うすいしみ 窓を開けた

ほとんど空は となりのビルに

負けていて 一・二時間だけ

希望の待てる ひるさがりです

サンドウィッチに はさむトマトさん

もっとまっ赤に 燃えてほしい

犬でもいればたっぷり

つくるシチューも

本格的なソースも

やめて 電子レンジ

熱くならない

お皿の気持

となりの部屋の引越し

カベがゆれてる

私は慣れた手つきで

ひとり 電子レンジ

日曜日だわ

それだけのこと

Firmly chilled, small tomatoes

I want to slice them as thinly as possible

Bringing my lips close to the steaming knife

On the table, the faint stains of spilled wine

I open the window

The sky is mostly obscured by the neighbouring buildings

Just for an hour or two, they win

It's a midday twilight where hope can wait

Tomato, sandwiched in between

I want you to burn even redder

If there were even a dog,

I’d make plenty of stew

Even with an authentic sauce

Not today, microwave

The feelings of the plate that won’t get hot

The next door is moving out

The walls are shaking

With practised hands

Alone, the microwave

It's Sunday

That's all it is
