Bloody hands, failing hearts

Just as innocent. Just as guilty, still

Complacent, this settler morality

How did we get

Blinded by division, nation and God

Pliant idolater, lost but can be found

You wanted to believe in a better life for us

Dependent on the promise, we're tied to the blame

 

Falling short of meaning, left out of the class

Force yourself to mean it, force yourself to try
