The Lightless Expanse

I tear sinew and skin from this sacred form

With them, build a charnel house for the dead gods before me

Lo, I have seen the failures of the flesh

Carved free by blades of obsidian

Celestial limbs emerge

Arterial pathways through the lightless expanse

I inhabit this form, born of wounds and dying stars

Engorged with the crimson glow of decay

Every mouth now choked with ash and dirt, longing for blood

Disciples carve out their eyes in the presence divine

The gnashing of teeth, the breaking of bones

Ours is a hell without end
