I see your hair is growing out I checked on you from a new account You're smoking cigarettes I know it's 'cause I left I heard you're shutting people out and sleeping on people's couch Now you drink when things get harder Said you'd never be your father I can't be your floodgate But I hate to see you drown (What are you doing) I can't be your band aid But it kills to watch you bleeding out I still worry about you Even though it's not my job to do No matter what I do, it's wrong Your problems aren't mine, but they feel like my fault It's taking everything I have not to shape the aftermath and give into my vices to calm your crisis Yeah, maybe if I called you up, you wouldn't be in this rut I thought I was your savior, turns out I'm just an enabler I can't be your sunshine I have to let you learn to live with rain I still worry about you Even though it's not my job to do No matter what I do, it's wrong Your problems aren't mine, but they feel like my fault
