I know it should be simple

 Just like getting rid of something

 You haven't used in a while

 Just put me in a trash can

 Or lay me out on the curb

 Maybe someone will find me useful

 Then maybe

 I will be their newest sensation

 They could show me off to their best friends

 Like a work of art

 And that's when you'll miss me

 The times you see me shining

 Not the times I was there

 Hiding under your bed
