Alone

Away to waters, dark and deep

I ventured in a little boat

The wind lay still

And swift afloat

I sailed in silence

All alone

Looked around and saw

A fish that shimmered through the waves

A bird that flew into a haze

And I sat in my boat

And thought

And me, here in my boat
