With Disease

Blighted realm lies through many doors

Buried deep in shadow

Rage and despair hangs in the air

Once burgeoning, now gone fallow

There are those, time and again

Who get lost somewhere within

Invaded by thoughts and led astray

Drawn into delusion

We tread upon departed dreams, lying deep under stones

Upon lives that were guided to extremes

By confusion that is ever found, by forlorn filled with need

In the end, did they feel justified in the words they believed?

Living disaster

With broken hands clawing

Betrayed by a madness

Upon a soul gnawing

Taking everything

Lives filled with empty pursuits

A fate that keeps us on our knees

My mind is empty, too

Fill it up with disease
