This game was a trial

You picked my heart to pieces and

I sat idled

So scared that you'd be leaving and

I'd have your child

But you showed the animal with his teeth

I'm moving through life one driveby at a time

I'm finding my truth when I'm not by your side

We didn't work out and instead of wasting my life

I'm finding a man who deserves me as his husband

Take this lesson for myself and learn

That my heart can heal after its burned

All the darkness that twisted and turned

Can be released and I can live through the hurt

Threw caution to the wind and I said screw it

Didn't see how you'd bring fruition to my ruin

The recovery in rehab helped me see my movement

And now I am curing the disease that you'd been brewing

I'm moving through life one driveby at a time

We didn't work out and 'stead of wasting my life

I'm finding a man who deserves me as his husband
