Lyrics

Yesterday I looked for the darkest patch in the river it asked me, 'What would you do for gold?' My eyes moved to the broken glass, but then I just went home. It became clear to me that rivers move alone. I once hopped on an evening train and by the time it stopped, my invitation had expired, my purpose been forgot. I hid my pride inside my bag as I approached the door, held my breath and walked out to confetti and applause. I did not even get the chance to perform my piece, but if no one knows the truth, the fun will never cease. On my balcony, I give my orders from above, they stare at me, with anger and with love. Today I joined the gun club, to protect myself from thieves, there's many members in this gang but we all just shoot, we all just shoot for peace.
