I feel like one too many of us empty, alone

This is the way we're supposed to go

We gon' walk my brother hand in hand

To the promised land, holdin' to His promises

I balance sins on a scale with accomplishments

When I forget it was accomplished, damn

So I give it all to Him

Had to take a step back and examine

What went wrong, Swaizy, man, what happened

Did I lose profit and gain pain from this passion

Did I make a way for the stains I hold tragic

What would've happened if I didn't win that contest

Or read that text in a slightly different context

Or signed that deal that I didn't feel was honest

If Divine Outcast just stayed a concept

But that's a lot to think about

A couple million streams later, what do I do now

Pray that I'm at least closer to figuring it out

God, I hope I make it out

I don't hate it

Life just sucks when it changes

But I'm longing for the day when the rain clears
