Hear Me

It was one of those nights

I was feeling kind of lethargic

And I knew I should do what to that place at all

but whatever was in my mind

My body pushed those thoughts aside

because I just wanted to dance

This was a funk decision

 

I

even had funky permissions of my floating around the room

passing flowers to all the boys and girls

Was is that time of the trip?

Or whether just high in the sound to the speaker that was coming out the wall

Or is it just another dream?

Am I even here at

all?

I see faces in the crowd

and it seems like they look into my soul

like I’m just an invisible man

who’s trying to become hold but

Scream to the top of my lungs

but no
