I'm losing sleep on my pillow's cold side

And I find my living room's my fortress

And I nod to listen

But donate my brainwaves to television

Cuz cable's got my attention

And I absorb the bullshit in it

And my suit and tie appearance

Is my disguise to justify things

Take it off and I'm a fucking broken bet

They've got me working like a dog to pay my debt

They've got me working like a chump for benefits

Get up, commute, I'm an optimist

Punch out, close up

Suck in my gut, I'm blessed

I kneel down, I'm shoulder deep in shit

No good pension can teach me to swim

Store front, with the fucking mannequins

Stand up, good posture, an advertisement

I'm losing sleep

Because my existence has left me a lazy, brain dead figure
