I Can Relate

A night in jail didn't do me much good

What a waste of time

I got picked up for vagrancy

I didn't know that was a crime

Someone in there was screamin about the devil

I couldn't get any sleep

It was satan this and satan that

And my boss at work is a dirty rat

Some folks don't have much faith

I guess I can relate

Thanks for the help it did me so much good

You could have given up on me

I didn't always do the things I should

I never could come clean

I heard someone was talking about

Either make do or do without

And it's oh me, oh my

These days it's all I can do to get by

Some folks aren't doing great, I guess I can relate

Someone else was telling me

Just how and when you never can tell

I just don't know where my head is at
