Vidya Lakshmi:

praṇata surēśvari bhārati bhārgavi, śōkavināśini ratnamayē

maṇimaya bhūṣita karṇavibhūṣaṇa, śānti samāvṛta hāsyamukhē ।

navanidhi dāyini kalimalahāriṇi, kāmita phalaprada hastayutē

jaya jayahē madhusūdana kāmini, vidyālakṣmī sadā pālaya mām

Dhana Lakshmi:

dhimidhimi dhindhimi dhindhimi-dindhimi, dundhubhi nāda supūrṇamayē

ghumaghuma ghuṅghuma ghuṅghuma ghuṅghuma, śaṅkha nināda suvādyanutē ।

vēda pūrāṇētihāsa supūjita, vaidika mārga pradarśayutē

jaya jayahē madhusūdana kāmini, dhanalakṣmi rūpēṇā pālaya mām

Victory to the Goddess Lakshmi !

Who is the daughter of the Bhrigu Maharishi

Who chases away all our sorrows.

Who radiates with all her ornaments with precious gems

Who blesses us with nine kinds of wealth

Who grants boons with Varada hastam(hand)

Please protect us.

You are in full perfection with the dhimi dhimi sounds of the drum

As your mangala aarti makes of auspicious

the sounds

echoes alround with the sound of ghumaghuma ghunghuma

Who is worshipped by vedas, puranaa and itihasa

Victory to you, the darling of Lord Madhusudana
