it dies on with me like it always did

a fool’s dream can’t fail when all of its baggage

gets abandoned halfway

may it never see the day

routinely quiet

with a ghostly promise

keep dodging it like a slow bullet

like a love arrow off the mark

further than you let off

I have not been alone since I was young

But fantasised my long awaited return

Where the sun will wake me up

And not the ones I hurt

All put on for some permanent damage
