We both see the moonlight, the same shade of blue

We both like to start things and not see them through

Two hopeless romantics from a bygone era

I've come to realize, you're bygone too

There are places to go, wonders to see

I had hope in my bones you would see them with me

Thought you were my person, the one I would keep

Though it could still work out differently
