I try my best to never get upset if only I learned how

to criticize beyond the dirty dish towel

I thought I’d microdose to let the love in

but I was scared to lose control

Then I thought I might start a coven but all my friends

been flakey and above it

I just don’t know

I might as well be a party balloon

People breathe life in me but I can’t seem to get a move on my own

I bounce around the crowd where I am handled and left like litter on the curb

When can I feel the air along my collarbone

Next time around I’m coming back a dog
