Growing up I thought I was rich

Grandma said Boy you ain’t got a pot to piss

Material things never mattered to me

Living with my cousins was good as life could be

Then I would go outside

Had a group of friends we used to run and hide

And everybody knew

When we were together wasn’t nobody gonna mess with you

I’ve got you and you’ve got me together we are a family (repeat) we all we need

Still to this very day

If I need them they’re just a call away

If there’s trouble coming I guarante

Trouble get to running

We all living peaceful

But we still will let people

Family got each other’s back
