Sometimes it's good to rest with your foot up on the table

Sometimes it is best to get up, if you're able

Sometimes you make your way back to the chair

And sometimes it's hard to rest, 'cause there's no furniture there

Sometimes it's good to feel the way you're partial to

Sometimes you know it's somethin' that you ought not do

But sometimes you may learn somethin' new

It's always dripping away, like a drool on baby's face

And just when you think you got just what it is you know you need

That's when you up and leave
