All of the hills in Santa Barbara

Could never ease a seasick mind

The water laughing on the shoreline

As your green face turned into mine

We watched a mama call her baby

From over a hundred yards away

I took down notes inside my diary

And I leaned over the lee rail

I wish that all this mess was now over

And I wish I had never come
