Looking at the stars I saw a face, I thought it was the Mona Lisa

Everywhere I turn I feel your eyes on me, but I can never reach ya

I’m not sure what I’ll find between our laughter lines

I’d find the words to say if I could know that you would take them as I meant them

I thought I saw a smile or something kind, maybe just dreamt it?
