got my first memory at 5 years old

and never thought about it until now

i was running ‘round dressed up through the garden

and always got back up when i fell down

faded drawings from endless summers

it’s a dream when you’re young but you wake up and it’s gone

i don’t wanna grow up but time is ticking non-stop

all these emotions come and go without a warning

even though i keep on changing i’m reminded i’m the same kid

i still see his reflection in the mirror
