Ensures our protection

Yearning for his light

Bathing in his attention

Reeking, the bodies accumulate

Draining the blood from their carcasses

Piercing their flesh with obsidian

Generations of sacrifice

Fueling our God's everlasting need for flesh

Convulsing and vomiting violently

What have we done to deserve this

Our skin is beginning to boil

Our merciful God is unpleased

In vengeance he's taken our sun

Ignoring all that we've given

Only delivering punishment

Purging the tears from our young

Twisting their limbs 'til they dangle

Imminent

Suffering

Offering

Irrelevant

Instant swarm of insects

Fills the air as we expire

Disintegration of our brief existence 

Dissolved, acid rain pours

Draining us body from soul

I beg desperate pleas to give us forgiveness
