Big Socks

It was a hot summer day working in the city I was just a young girl people told me I was pretty OO-OO-OO I saw this man down the street he had really big feet He was looking pretty awkward he was down on his knees praying LOOORD, LOOORD Gimme some socks He said, Lord, Lord, gimme some socks Well, he looked a little handsome but seemed a little down So, I said hey what's the matter and he looked up with a frown he said OO-OO-OO All I need are some socks Socks I thought, well that I can do (OOO) he's a man with no socks but guess WHAAAT I run a sock shop She runs a sock shop; she runs a sock shop I run a sock shop And that was the beginning of this special little thing We didn't know it at the time, but it was more than just a fling I invited him in, and he looked at my wares He said none of these are big enough to fit this pair I said (hey) I can make them a custom size He said (hey) that sounds pretty nice And it was history from then on And now I'm known as Ms. Spiffy to everyone I was actually pretty shy, but I was feeling pretty bold that day I didn't mean to pry, but I'm glad that it turned out this way This man that I saw, the big feet he wanted gone The goddess that he called, the miracle phenomenon She blessed me with gigantic hair, to make us two the perfect pair To fight the comic standards that society set
