I told a secret that broke my darling's heart

I made a promise that I would tear out my darling's sweet heart

I'm still a young man but now I feel old

The light from the sun only makes me feel cold

She started to weep then she started to moan

Please don't make me leave you in this world all alone

I know that you need me, without me you'll die
