I was tired of the thousands of people staring at me

So I decided to do what i wanted and leave this place once and for all

And I was holding my breath when you were holding my hand screaming take me, better place x2

We ran and we ran around our town (ran)

we were looking for a reason to stay alive

And you ask me if I want to do it now and see this world from the other side

And I was feeling down so I moved into a better place (down town)
