Where to Begin

I burned all this down

and I have no idea what now

blood is always thicker than water

poured and poured then couldn’t be bothered

watched the smoke turn white

a coal in the fire of the by and by

love always rises and crashes

fan the flame then scatter the ashes

and try to start again

because I can make the walls crack

I can make the ceiling cave in

but when I have to build it all back up

I don’t know where to begin
