Perishing Void

The night is descending

Mountains dissolve and lakes turn to icy surfaces

Grotesque splendour rises from the fragile constructs of ice

Cold light from the moon that mirrors a crystal sky, distantly

Illuminates the snow-capped scenery

Dead silence encircles it all

Only nature raises its voice

Infinite gleams and uncountable ice stars, standing still

And harkening to the breath of the north wind

Sparkling like crystals in the everlasting pitch-black night

It is Time

In the empire of snow and ice I shall have no fear

Black crows are perching on the crown of an old birch

Which seems to be frail but not broken yet

The winter landscape seems to be frozen

And untouched by time

Boundless ice – it seemingly lasts forever

The realm of darkness slowly vanishes

For the goddess of dawn

After deep silence the hope for a new beginning rises

Following the path of the stars at the dark ocean

It is time

In the empire of snow and ice

I shall have no fear

In the realm of dark and demise I am part of here

Only solidarity ensures the survival
