Little Did We Know

So many were the days when life seemed unbearable

Breathing in the haze that poisoned the air

Unkind and alone, it was so inhumane

In a twilight zone with the world gone insane

So little did we know, denying our ignorance

So little did we care in a cloak of indifference

See we were the ones who refused to believe

And now we'll see, they'll be, they'll be no reprieve
