I'm gettin' left behind by my own aspirations

Still hesitant to leave, waitin' for an affirmation

Sittin' at the train station, siftin' through my medication

Blinded by the morning sun, still searching for the inspiration

To move on, but I'm still waiting, who knows how long it's been

Last time that you saw me was the last time I wore this grin

But my smile is growing thin, it's slowly weakenin'

How long since you checked out? Spiders crawling on my skin, yeah

I'm past the beggin', past the pleadin', at this point, I want some closure

But the gate's still open, how much longer must I hold composure?

The sun's rays burn my skin as I wait for the next train

The station's completеly empty but me and my reflection

Sittin' on the other side, underneath the shade's protection

Beckonin' me to step across the train tracks

Smilin' back at me like he's already laid traps

As if I needed any to fall back into the cycle
