I don’t mind the sun sometimes

But I think I’d rather have the moon

Nothing wrong with the morning light but it burns me up by noon

The clock is broken on the wall, but I know I'll be haunted soon

As I lay my head down and have dream of you

I don’t mind blue skies some times but I think I’d rather have the rain

The thunder clouds rolling in keep the wolves at bay

The sound on that ole tin roof keep me from going insane

As I lay my head down and have a dream of pain

Drifting off to lonely

Where monsters stake their claim

Maybe I’ll find some answers

Where monsters come out to play

Sitting at a wishing well wishing I had some change

Wishing the universe would stop playing its games

Tired of waiting for a little something to come my ay
