I've never seen eyes like these

They cause all words and thoughts to flee

I've never held a heart so pure

A heart with keys to all my doors

I've never known what the future holds

Where yesterday went I do not know

But my fears they fade, my doubts no more

Every drop in the ocean and every grain on the beach

All poetic notions couldn't measure how I feel

Kings and queens have their castles and captains have their fleets

I wouldn't trade their treasures nor would I want oceans deep

On matters of love, oh, should be meek

But should I contain this racing heart

Its tender walls would rip apart
