An old forgotten ghost train through the free state

Won't deviate or change its former line

From Bethlehem and down into the mountains

No-one's waiting but the driver runs on time

You see Harrismith has fallen from its grace

A man can't even find a place to eat

It seems they're only selling empty houses

The agencies dividing up the streets

Waiting and praying for the rain

And you just out there waiting for the train
